Hello there!
I'm Krystal and I'm selling my (mostly) converted Skoolie to relocate me and my pup to Hawaii! As much as I wish I could take her with me, circumstances and transport requirements prevent me from being able to take her off the mainland without undoing all the work I've put into it. I bought the bus in August of 2018 and have put my heart and soul into turning this retired school bus into a tiny home on wheels and I hope to find her a like-minded owner to complete the job. The bus is mostly converted - only plumbing, some electrical, and cosmetic touches to patch up/add. Giving up the bus isn't something that has come easy, but it's a worthwhile sacrifice for me at this point. And as hard as it is to give up this project - I know she has many, many more adventures left in her.
The Deets..
-2002 E-450 7.3L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel. 156,500 miles.
-5-Window, with wheelchair access door on rear passenger side. (Near head of bed)
-<500 miles on rear dually (4) tires , and 80% tread on remaining 2 front tires.
-Both batteries replaced within the past year and still hold a 3 year warranty.
-14'x.7.5' of interior space prior to construction.
-6' interior height at tallest point.
Solar System:
-(3) 100W Renogy solar panels, definitely room to add more if need be! These panels are riveted to the roof, freeway tested and approved. These babies aren't going anywhere.
-200AH 12v AGM Renogy battery..
-Renogy 40A MPPT charge controller with Bluetooth connectivity.
-1000w Pure-sine wave inverter.
Bedroom and bathroom basics:
-Full sized mattress with memory foam pad.
-Storage throughout, including underneath bed. accessed though rear and wheelchair lift door.
-18' closet with hanging rod, shelving and full mirror attached to door.
-24x36" shower pan to be installed.
-Dometic portable camp toilet.
Kitchen:
-Over 9' of solid live-edge Acacia & shaker cabinetry and more storage than I could find what to do with.
-60W Galanz 4.4 cubic ft mini fridge
-XL farmhouse style sink with swivel faucet that extends to the outside for a potential outdoor shower.
-Portable propane Coleman camp stove.
Essentials included to finish the job:
-Surflow water pump & 36/42gal water tanks to mount
-24x36" shower pan
-Massive propane tank fit to be mounted under bus.
Neat little details:
-Elastomeric solar-flex roof coating.
-Luxury/waterproof vinyl flooring.
-D-Rings installed inside bus to hang yer hammock.
-Because the bus has the chassis of an E-450 - I was able to insure her with commercial insurance, no probs.
The Nitty-Gritty:
-Minor electrical issues. More specifically the rocker switches have a mind of their own. This does not effect functionality of bus.
-A/C does not work due to electrical issues.
-No radio/sound system installed.
Extra goods - including but certainly not limited to...:
-Miscellaneous tools to help finish the job.
-Custom skylight fit to be installed over emergency hatch
-Heater buddy with maaany 16oz propane canisters.
-Multiple linen sets and an electric blanket.
-Electric space heater for when hooked up to shore power.
-Lightweight/durable tableware, kitchen goodies, cutlery.
Buyer take all. Seriously. Take my stuff.
