Around the world we create and discard so much. A niche rose from the ashes of many junk yards across America, finding used Commercial and Government vehicles with a ton of possibilities converting them to exciting safe unique spaces.
I personally started my adventure as a project to my new born son. Atlas was just an infant when daddy found an old school bus that originated from the Naples Fire Department as a training grounds vehicle to haul hoses and items around.
A father bought it for his son and began the renovation process before me. When I found the bus, the duo changed plans but still had a lot of love for the idea. They wanted to call it “The Journee” as a moniker to their favorite band.
To continue on their effort and show my son it was always meant for him, @TheJourneeAtlas was born. My hope to pass down to my future generation. Who knows what the next 30 to 40 years looks like, my only hope is that this bus is still being used by him and families who enjoy tiny home projects.
